the Decision

Those bushy wind warriors are back!
long hair, tattoos, earrings everywhere.
Weather breaks; out comes thundering herd
gathering together, celebrating God’s Word!

These outlaws are not as they appear
they follow the man/God from Galilee.
Forsaken is the path of evil and destruction
embraced is the way of His Love!

Christian bikers, riding for the Son
their colors bold, their message true.
These warriors of the wind, living witness
sharing His way to salvation, even for you!

Matters not how evil or sinful
God loves all, sent His Son to pay.
A debt whose payment we could never afford.
We are forgiven! Washed clean!  Say the prayer today!

Message eternal, vital, fresh for all time
able to enter, grow, blossom in hardest heart.
These brothers and sisters, faces in the wind
riding for the Lord, TODAY is your day!

The old ways and songs...they are true!
Listen to the thunder, His kids are out!
A witness for every single path of life
today yours is knocking, asking, waiting.

Decision yours, here today; our friends
light or darkness the choice is clear.
Will you die an eternity of horrible death
or shall you rise with God’s cavalry?

Today is the day of decision, dear friend!
Will you ride with those who live?
Will you say the prayer that saves?
Will you accept the gift of Jesus this glorious day?

Come join our tribe of worshipers
those whose account is forgiven, washed clean.
Ask Him to forgive you, soften your stony heart
Proclaim Him YOUR Lord,
and your life of righteousness will really begin!

Come on! What ya got to lose?
Come on! Let’s go for a ride!
Come on! Our Bro’s waitin to cruise!
Come on, child of God! Decide!

Loved this.  I saw a bunch of these "christian bikers" at a promisekeepers event in D.C.  It blew my mind to see them, but then the thought came to me.  Christ didn't come to make us all churchmen types with 3 piece suits.  He came to save us, wash us, and sanctify us.  But he never came to change our basic personality... he came to raise it from the dead.

bravo.

Oh, this is so glorious! A whole bunch of pridigal sons on motorcycles! Wow! I sure would love to spend time to hear the stories and how they came to know the Lord...What wonderful testimonies they would tell. Wonderfully written poem to His glory. Ellie

Dan...I love this. Love, Sis

How can you save me?
When the dark comes right in and takes me,
from my front walk and into bed,
where it kisses my face and eats my head. Shivaree

Knowing that the book of Revelatioin is symbolic in nature, do you think that the white horse thay Jesus sits upon just might be a Harley Hog?   Could be..... your guess is good as mine!  I have never owned a bike myself, but I do have some friends who do. I have a step brother who currently stopped attending church and a ministry which involves H.D.'s would be a perfect ministry for him to get involved with.....   Thanks,  Bob <><

Bleeding,
How far is Guthrie from Holdenville or Calvin? My friends are from there. Do you know any of th Burkes? They were wonderful to my son whenhe ran away from home and ended up with them. I haven't spoken with them in some time. Heard they have a computer and would love to be able to e-mail them. If you know anything about them would you e-mail me? I will get the answer quicker that way. Only get in here on Saturdays.

Keep writing and riding for the Lord,
Jan Duncan
