Once again, a haiku poem:

I am exhausted,
As a child who has return'd
From a long journey.

I return, from cold
Confusion that makes this world,
To your loving arms.

In darkness I call'd
Your name and regain'd my faith,
And now see your love.

The rest of this I
Cast upon you, o Lord and
Redeemer of souls.

I no longer want
Any of my foolish doubts, nor
Any more confusion.

I praise you because
Of this strong faith you've given
Me, to live in peace.

Amen!  Perfect prayer of thankfulness and hope, straight from a heart yielding to God.
Lovely in every way and so refreshingly simple and humble.  Enjoyed very much.

I enjoy the haiku format that you use here to express your thoughts.... You are very talented indeed to write with such poetic structure.  My overall thought is how awesome God is to be as close to us as the mentioning of His name.  Faith comes that quickly.  Love in Christ, Bob <><

Your faith and His Love come through your beautiful Haiku with wonderful clarity! Ellie

Thankyou all for your replies!

If there is one lesson I think I learned from my ordeal, it's this:

Do not try to justify your faith through science.  It won't work.  Faith is that which justifies our belief in the existance of God.  Have faith and believe in God and his word, and you will be blessed.  Doubt and try to justify it scientifically, and you will fall into confusion.  For every argument against atheist dogma there is a counter-argument.  That's what separates us from them.  We have faith in something we can't see.  They only have faith if they see it.

So, I think that the best way to sum up the struggle with science, as it has taken place on both the religious and the non-religious side, would be the following verse from the word:

"This is a wicked generation.  It asks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah."

--- Luke 11:29b

I'm not saying that science is evil.  I mean, I enjoy studying it.  However, I don't think that it holds the answer to our spiritual needs, dispite what hardcore atheists might think.  They may be right, tho, maybe they can live with all their needs fulfilled with science only, but I sure can't.

To see the 'light' and realize just what He is to us, is an awesome thing!
As well as the poem you've written above.

Good ponderance for me today!

I know not what the future holds,
but I know Who holds the future.

I don't question YOUR existance - GOD
