The Lord is my guide
In him I confide
Never choosing a side

He is my rock
In which I place stock
Holding the key to the lock

He is my light
All through the night
Never dim, always bright

He is my salvation
From worldly humiliation
No further contemplation

He is my rainbow
On which spirits flow
Basking in the glow

The Lord is my dream
Futile as it seems
We are the winning team

We are the winning team"

Yes, YOU ARE.. This is pure faith, Jennifer

What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the words I have read in my life.

Your faith is so strong and you have described it well here. Thank you!  ellie

I loved the simplicity of the words that you used to describe such simple truths...  He is all that and more.  God Bless You, Bob <><

Kathleen . . . Thank you my friend.  I know I can lean on Him if I need to.

ellie . . . You are welcome.  Just write what is in my heart.

Bonnie . . . I second that.  Thanks.

Bob . . . Indeed he is my friend.  His love shall conquer all.

Your faith is admirable!  In a world where so many Christians are so out of faith that they try to prove God scientifically, it is quite a relief to read a poem like yours.  Thankyou very much for sharing.

I love it !! One part stood out to me as a beautiful sight and feeling...
He is my rainbow
On which spirits flow
Basking in the glow
What a wonderful thought to carry. God bless you.
