Wanted to let you know this was written by my daughter Ashley and me.   She wanted to write one together.

A Saviors Birth

Once upon a Christmas Night
Appeared a star shining bright.
In the fields were shown to me
Two angels I could clearly see.
They told me of the Savior's birth
And how He'd come to save the Earth.
We gathered gifts that we would bring
The best of them fit for a king.
To Bethlehem we went that night
Followed the star that gave its light.
We found in manger baby boy
We praised his name and sang for joy.
The animals all gathered 'round
As each knee bent to the ground,
To worship on this Christmas Night
The KING that came to be our LIGHT.

Ashley and Becky, this is wonderful! The meaning of Christmas has never been clearer! What a joy it is to read you, Ashley (aka Ethel to ME...LOL). I would like to see more from you - oh, and uh from you too Becky.

This is charming. I enjoy it more because it was written by mother and daughter. Keep that closeness always.

Ashley and Rebecca
What a beautiful Christmas poem you have penned together.
Looking forward to reading more from you together.

Ashley, you and your mother have written a wonderful poem about the birthday of Jesus.  And you know what?  I believe it all happened just like you have described it because every so often, I like to visit that very spot myself.  Hey, maybe we'll all meet there one day?  God Bless You, Bob <><

Becky; This could be but to music and be a wonderful new Christmas carol! This is so gentle and lovely, my friend, like you.

What a wonderful surprise to see this!  Ashley, want to come help Gram, too?  A lovely rhyme commemorating our Savior's birth.  Thank you both.

Thanks everyone. To be honest, it was mostly my mother writing it. I was just learning.
