At the edge and a doorway,TX

Standing outside of the church
I hear the bells ringing in my ears
The sweet sound of brass
banging against the other in harmony
I walk inside to hear the choir singing a hymn
The cross with the Jesus nailed to it stands in front of me
I try to keep control as the spirit overwhelms me
The glow of angels surround me and
I feel at peace here
Home
My heavenly home
Waves of happiness run through me
I walk up and take the offering
Then I walk over to Jesus
Kneel and begin to pray
A long prayer for everything and everyone that has ever touched my life
Journeys safe
Dearly departed
I feel everything now
I drift off into this place of holiness
Come to me
Touch me
Enter mmy heart and make me whole
For once in my life make me whole
My time here is well spent
I leave feeling that the world is right
Just a moment in my life I I talked to the Lord
I talked to the angels
I talked to Jesus
I felt peace
I have it all now
i finally understand
Understand that everything will be all right
Everything will be all right now

Love,
Lady

That overwhelming feeling you experience is His Light and His Love...a most truly passionate feeling...

thank you...

There's no other feeling like it in the world. You've described it well.
If we could only keep that feeling with us forever, and not get caught up in the ways of world when we exit those doors.

God bless ya

How wonderfully you have described the overwhelming of His Love. Sweet kiss of His Love upon our souls....ellie

What a wonderful way to write of this great experience, Ladycat.  Isn't that just the best feeling....  Bonnie

Thank you all for reading and understanding.
Yes, I did enjoy that feeling.  It is so far and few between since there is little time in the day to think about it, bt the times that I do have I take it for all that it is worth, and it is worth a whole lot to me.

Love,
Lady

For many years, I too felt that emptiness inside of not knowing what my soul was longing for.... and then, like you, I found it.   A home.  It is such a warmth deep inside our being to come to this realization and to find that special place of comfort in Christ.  God Bless You, Bob <><
