I put on my boots, went to the door,
And You were out there waiting for me,
Dressed in a pure white velvet cloak,
Just standing patiently.
We joined our arms and strolled along,
Soft moonbeams giving light,
As snowflakes fell so gently,
You walked with me this night.
We talked and talked for hours,
And even took time to play,
Building a chubby snowman,
As You guided me Your way.
You told me how the snowflakes,
Seemed feathers from angel's wings,
And that the quiet, gentle breeze,
Is merely her breath as she sings.
With Your arm around my shoulder,
As we walked back through the snow,
You warmed my heart completely,
Before You turned to go;
By showing me I was not alone,
You would always be there to talk,
Or to play in the sun, or glistening snow,
As I finish what's left of this walk.

I love this walk with the Lord. He is always there by our side, and you tell it in a wonderful way.
Really lovely poem.

Bonnie~
This is such a lovely little piece of you -

'You told me how the snowflakes,
Seemed feathers from angel's wings,
And that the quiet, gentle breeze,
Is merely her breath as she sings.'

And I think I just saw a MIRACLE take place !

By all means - welcome to Spiritual Journeys as a moderator !
You will certainly be a wonderful person to have here.
