I thank you for my eyes to see
And for my spirit you've set free
The roof that now protects my head
And in the cold, my warm, soft bed

I thank you for the ones I love
For watching o're me from above
I thank you for the food we eat
And all the golden grains of wheat

I thank you for my Passion friends
And all the words we write with pens
I'm thankful for all that you give
Your life for us, that we could live

I'm thankful for the ears to hear
And all our burdens that you bare
I'm thankful for the Light of day
I'm thankful Lord in everyway

There is a great beauty in the expression of Gratitude. We have some much to be thankful for.  The beauty shines through nicely in this poem.  David< !signature-->

WOW- another day of life-and here among friends!

I read your post, then reread as a challenge.  It's a huge challenge as it seems you've said it all. (I'll try anyway)

OK all this was Bonnie's Challenge. I just wrote one according to the challenge she made.

But I hope everyone joins in!
