America's Love

Culture devised a way of human procreation
based on mating practice in a marital relation.
It's easy to claim our gender's emancipation
within realms of simple animalistic fornication.
After all,
America's love has become sensual infatuation.

The common proceed from relation to relation
in this era we have called post-industrialization.
Children weaned at birth in parental separation
if allowed to live at all in the name of liberation.
After all,
America's love has become sensual infatuation.

I know we've advanced in human adaptation
as a nation we've become a creative sensation.
Our young can find love in a deep imagination
for no family need remain in our own creation.
After all,
America's love has become sensual infatuation.

Bob you've done it again! Straight forward this is and so true!

This is the day and age of "America's love has become sensual infatuation."

All I can say is I sat here going Wow! and not quite sure what to say either. I've thought this, I've said this...and you've left me speechless.  ~Good wake up call~

Bob,
So sad but true, Our nation seeks it's own pleasure and not the will of our God. As a nation we are on a downward spiral, unless America comes to its senses, forsakes it's wreckless folly and turns back to God, We may live to see the utter destruction of this once great land, Crumbling from the weight of its own Wickedness. Thanks for the thoughtful poem and warning of the present danger we face. Dennis :^)

Bob~ What you say in your poem is sadly true for so many. We can pray for America, for Jesus is the only way to the truth of what love is.
Great write.

Bob, Let me just add, Amen!..a thought, it needs to start in the beginning, with each child, teaching them the ways of God.
Your poem really focused and a impressive
write with much truth. A reminder to us all.
Love, Marcy
