A hand of fate?
The hand of God.
A lonely road?
The path of righteousness.
A blinding light?
A guiding light.
A hand full of sins?
A mountain of forgiveness.
A heavy load?
A burst of strength.
The fear of doubt?
A trust in prayer.
A lonely heart?
An undying Love.
In simple terms?
Faith.

RonFox~
A thinking piece for sure.

My faith is the rock
on which I stand
Always believing
Forever reaching for His hand

I hurry to Him
When I have a load to carry
He takes my burdens
He does not tarry

With prayerful eyes
and knowing heart
I see - I believe
He will not depart

*Thank you for this inspirational moment.

Ron, this hit so close to home I am sitting with my mouth open. Wow!
How tidy and wise you have packaged 'faith'.
You've been blessed with awesome gifts and you write poetry well too.
This is a jewel. Thanks.   Marcy

Thank you everyone, in my life I've walked that thin line, seen both good and bad, experience it too. but by a divine hand, I got that gentle nudge to stay within the boundaries we should all be. I'll admit I'm not a very religious man, but I believe there are powers that guide us. And heck...how can you not believe in angels? And as for faith, I think every heart holds it, just a matter of when you call on it. But when you do, it always answers.

I like this

Sometimes you have to let go and move on,
But never let go of the memories.

I loved this, it made me think of a mustard seed, which is the first thing I think of when I think of faith, and how we need so little of it to know the reality of it!

over the rain-green grass,
and the sun drips honey.""
