Knee Mail

You don't have to e-mail me to say "my friend, hello"
You don't have to sign on to Poet Cwb to take a look
You don't even have to call me friend so that I will know
For me to feel the piece of my heart that you forever took

I am still breathing through the breath of a friendship born
I hold my head high in memories of a friend I used to know
I am weakened by this heart that has so many times been torn
But I have that reserved spot in my heart that will forever glow

There is now a peace dwelling deep within my heart and my soul
There is a comfort in what I know is shared in two hearts today
Though bringing it to the light of this day is not the eventual goal
On bended knee I pray that you can hear what I truely have to say

No, there will be no phone call, nor will there be a letter in the mail
There will be no cyber message sent to you to plead my case anew
There will only be the strength of the Lord as he sends to you, my tale
As I send another message via "knee-mail" praying it will reach you

Mark Christopher

P.S. Thank you for the replies you have given to my poems. Your replies mean alot to me, because they are always so sincere and heartfelt. Ellie

that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Mark~ This is one of a pleading heart. Just reach out to the Lord. I promise he will be there for you if you will seek him first.
Earthly friends count, and will be there, but Jesus is the best friend of all...
I found this to be so true in my life and you can experiance the same my friend.

Marge-my friend, do you know how much I truely cherish you and your heart?  I love you my friend, from the bottom of my heart straight through to my toes.  Thank you

Holly-What I find amazing is the peace that I have found of late and the beautiful ETERNAL friendship I have with you.  No-one has ever touched my heart the way you have nor as deep and above all, NO-ONE has accepted me completely and unconditionally as you always have and still been able to teach me a thing or two in the process.  Thank you from the depths of my heart.

Ellie-Thank you much and I will always reply from my heart and with total sincerity.  I am glad that you could tell that.

Deb-Thank you and believe it or not, I know.

Mark,
as you know per our conversation ...
I am so taken by the sheer beauty of this poem...and it has none of your usual imagery...its beauty and grace is found in its emotions and message ...
and it is one of your very best works ...
and that is not just a  biased friend talking ...
that is a fact of poetry and ya know I never
"lie" about poetry.
very touching write MC ...very.

Bob-No better delivery service than that of "his" hand and heart.  Thank you much.

Vicky-thank you and I know that message was heard and received as intended without ever haveing the acknowledgement.  Thank you.

JM-You know how much your sincerity and trust mean to me and for that reason alone I know that you will sit beside "him" one day.  You have taken the time to see the REAL me and for that I thank you.

monique-Thank you, I am glad you liked it.

Marcy-thank you and you never have to delete the ramblings as I love to see and hear them always.  They sometimes hold the secret to true acknowledement.

Karilea-One would hope not and I can only trust in it reaching it's home and being read as I do know that it will be delivered.

Bonnie-Thank you so much.  I am glad that you liked it.
