Prophet's Cry

Creation sings, "A new day has begun!"
As angels rejoice with praise to God's Son...
Hearts of man pound like a drum
As the Prophet cries out, "Messiah has come!"

A cold wind blows the chaff in despair
As man looks for answers, but nobody's there...
Mountains of doubt fall to the sea
As the Prophet cries out, "Give your lives unto me!"

Saints of God receive penance of Grace
As their names are called as beholding His face...
Children of Earth approach His throne
As the Prophet cries out, "Now, bone of My Bone!"

Bob, I really enjoyed this reminder to be prepared to answer the call.  Beautifully written and well taken.

Soon Elijah will come and turn the heart of the children to their fathers.

Well done, it brings to mind a couple scriptures. One cries from the wilderness.
It shall be soon, as we see so much prophecy unfolding before us.

Bob; I love the old testament feel here, We are being called every day to hear His voice and heed His call of love, Thanks.  Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Mark,

I too strive to listen for God's calling on my life to be prepared to go and do His work.

Alle'cram,

Yes, may we all be found listening to make that first call.

White Dove,

We do see the cry of the prophets taking place before our eyes and here is another Rich Mullen's quote, "When I go, let me go out like Elijah..."

Ellie,

I agree, He is the greatest prophet ever and He is still speaking to us today.

Thank you everyone for your loving and encouraging words, Bob <><

Bob,
The last line is the one that really sunk in.
bone of my bone...
How wonderful is his love. I really like this one.

LightHouseBob~

Powerful thoughts in this sharing.
Bless the light that you are wearing.
Go forth and spread the Word of God,
A prophet comes to give the nod.

Just wonderfully inspiring.

Deb,

The last line is intended to represent the Wedding between the Lord and His Bride... I am sure that you were so touched because you are "bone of His Bone." Bob <><

Marge,

I hope His nod is not from lack of sleep
But for all His promises that He will keep
And I thank you for each kind remark
For each one's a light that pierces my dark.

God Bless You, Bob <><
