Right now Your angels are weaving,
Another pair of delicate wings,
As they keep a constant vigil,
Waiting...as the final bell rings.
I know they'll gently fit her,
With a gown of purest white,
Those downy feathers will guide her,
As she comes to You in flight.
Flower strewn pathways will cushion each stride,
As she nears her majestic new home,
There'll be whispers of delicate music,
In the air where angels do roam.
Chubby sweet little cherubs,
Dressed in the palest of pink and blue,
Will tenderly take her weary hand,
And lead her, so softly to You.
Your gentle arms will embrace her,
She'll see love on Your sweet face,
As you walk hand in hand together,
She will feel Your precious grace.
Surrounded by heavenly beauty,
She'll let go of pain from the past,
She'll join the chorus of angels,
Knowing she's truly found peace, at last.

Oh, Bonnie what a beautiful tribute! I can't wait myself! Your picture of heaven is positively heavenly! Love, Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

vl, thanks so much.

Just want to explain that a sweet lady I know is in the end stages of cancer, and these are the thoughts I have for her.  Thank you all for your kind replies.  Bonnie

This poem is such a comfort.  The tender spirit expressed by this poem took away all my fear of death and made death such a beautifully gentle experience. I do pray that our experience of death will be just like this...

Bonnie you show faith like a child. Sweet, pure, and simple. I hope you share this with her!!

I'm sure it will bring her as much comfort as it has us.

Bonnie,

This sounds wonderful and I am with Marge, I believe it will be just like you describe here.  Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
