Give A Sinner...

Give a sinner a crossword,
And you have a sinner who's thinking...

Give a sinner a martini,
And you have a sinner who's drinking...

Give a sinner a vitamin,
And you have a sinner who's healthy...

Give a sinner a million,
And you have a sinner who's wealthy...

Give a sinner a mission,
And you have a sinner who's dedicated...

Give a sinner a new life,
And you have a sinner who's resuscitated...

Give a sinner a Bible
And you have a sinner who's facing sin...

Give a sinner a Savior,
And you have a sinner who's saved within.

Almost missed this gem!  How true these words ring.  Someone said, don't tell a sinner of his sins, he already knows them, but tell him of forgiving love.

Yes! How true. "Jesus" is the answer to every question. Anything else, however well intended, is only cosmetic. Good thought, clever poem.

A Sandgrain,

What you have said is true; The sinner does not need additional condemnation, but they do need to know that they as a person are loved. Thank you for your reply, Bob <><

Winnifer,

Welcome to "Passions" and thank you for your comment.  I too am a firm believer that Jesus is the answer to all of our questions... if we would only ask. God Bless You, Bob <><

Powerful words here, Bob. You always write clear poems that give God all the glory, because your heart is filled with the love of Jesus. Love, Ellie

calling them to join

in their silent song
of praise to God.

First acceptance....we are all sinners...second acceptance...we all have salvation waiting for us....third acceptance....thank you for this lovely verse.  Wonderfully put and so full of the truth and inspiration we all so desperately need to understand.

Bonnie,

Yep, too many truths and just not enough time to write them all down... When you think about it, our inspiration for writing is unlimited when you consider our source.  The Lord Bless You, Bob <><

LightHouseBob~
Give a forgiven sinner a light ...
and he will shine it in poetic praise
of The One who lights our lives with salvation !
Wonderfully done, as is all you write.
Bless you.

Marge,

God blessed a forgiven sinner
As a beautiful feather of white
Whos tip does drench in Spirits ink
With poetic composition writes
Glorious words of Light.

God Bless You, Bob <><

Bob so simply stated and so full of truth!
I love it! I love every line of this. Especially the ending!

White Dove,

You always have something encouraging to write and I truly do appreciate your encouragement.  I really do enjoy simple poems as well.  I like reading them and I love it when God gives me a simple poem of truth like this one to share.  God Bless You, Bob <><

Bob,

Very nice piece here.  How true that the sinner who receives his Savior will be shown the beauty of salvation.  Who knows, maybe that is what he has been waiting for in his life.  Wonderful writing.

Lone Wolf,

You are absolutely correct.  Salvation is a beautiful thing worthy of receiving and holding on to...  and sharing with others.  There is no better gift in the world.  God Bless You, Bob <><
