~Reason's Not Seen~

The reason's why
are sometimes left
with the man in the sky
shut windows, slammed doors

If one will listen, tuned in sharp
you'll not miss the final mark

Tears of gold held in a bottle
often lead to smoother shores
a glassy sea to ride upon
never to break, in it's final wake

Deb-May I hug you for this one as "you" have shown me that it is not the answers that I need but merely to recognize the questions and trust in their importance.  Thank you so much.

God only knows...
and He's not telling.

Though this poem was for Mark,
I liked it also. Bob <><

wow...you have no idea how much that means to me!  Just today I was writing in my journal about how I wish I could understand God's reasoning and have him answer my million questions!  It feels like God is speaking to me through your poem...it is pretty amazing!  He surely does work wonders.  Thank you, and a beautiful poem.
God Bless

Mark,
Warm hugs for you my friend. Sometimes we question but get no reply's, so we wonder why. His knowledge is far beyond ours. Trust he knows best, and let it rest.

Bob, notice how a child will ask over and over, why, why, why? when they don't understand, or don't really WANT to understand, but rather just want their way?
In everything give thanks. His ways are not our ways.

sunshine...thanks, warm hugs from the heart.

Loveall, I think we have all been there. Simple trust, and sometimes we just need to hold his hand, and try not to understand.
Its the letting go, and let God be God, that brings the sweet peace.
Hugs and more hugs,
Deb

I love the poem Deb!  If you don't mind I would like to express what I think...

He always answers us, sometimes that answer is no. Where He closes one door, He opens another for us. Merely to steer us in the right direction! Though we don't always understand those answers. I beleive he answers all our prayers. Sometimes we just don't 'see' the answer. (this is just my opinion)

Tears of gold held in a bottle
often lead to smoother shores
a glassy sea to ride upon
never to break, in it's final wake

As he knows every tear we've cried! I agree with your comments, we do need to let God do His thing!   I truly enjoyed this!

Whtdove
I do agree that God answers prayers, and yet when his answer is no, it often comes in the form of silence.
When it's quiet we can't argue...

So glad you like this.
