A Very Simple Word

I have a very simple word that I’d like to share;
Scripture's never intended to be read with eyes,
Only in prayer.

Bob; simply said and so wisely to be read!

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Such power in your few words!  Reminds me of being hearers of the WORD or doers of it.  A world (or maybe an eternity) of difference. I love it!

White Dove,

Yep, We have the knowledge to pick up the Word of God and read it and God reveals His Wisdom through our reading of His Word.
Bob <><

Sunshine,

You are definately in a "haiku" frame of mind.  This is wonderful, God has blessed you with a spirit of haiku and this one is just right.

I'll try to finish it off this way...

Heart reaches for God
God's promises are revealed
God's Heart touches life.

Bob <><

Melissa,

Thank you for your compliment, it reminds me of Someone that I know very well. Bob <><

deleeme,

You're right!  Without those spiritual ears, the Bible just don't sound the same...

...and thank you for acknowledging me as your "friend", this is quite an honor.

A Sandgrain,

Way to go... Take the Word to the next step.
I believe that the Word always has something for us to do... and the difference between listening and doing has eternal consiquences. I believe it.  Bob <><

Thank you everyone for being my friend in this our "Spiritual Journey".  God Bless You, Bob <><
