laugh with me
when i am happy
cry with me
when i am sad
rejoice with me
when i'm triumphant
encourage me
when i would fail
be with me
when i am silent
listen
when i need to share
walk with me
where i may wander
guide me
should i lose my way
rest with me
when i am weary
rise with me
to face the day
pray with me
for God will lead us
stay with me
and be my friend
and when you need
someone to lean on
someone
who will truely care
know that i
am right beside you
trust in me
and call me 'friend'

Vicky~
Okay !  I will !
My friend, this is just so thoughtfully filled with the
very reasons we are a friend to another.
Always mindful that another needs us- just as we need them.
Love and peace to you this day.

Thank you for all your loving replies to me, and I thank oyu for writing this beauty! Love, Ellie

Vicky,

I love your poem!!!!  It is a perfect picture of friendship.  It is give and take and give some more!!!!  We all need to have people like this in our lives.  I am sending this to my best friend.  I know she will enjoy it as much as I did.

This is so true about friends and should be even more so with family. (husband and wife) It is wonderful when we have someone who shares and cares and bares our trials and victories right along side us.  A very nice post.  Your friends are very fortunate indeed. God Bless You, Bob <><
