She Gave To Me
~*Marge Tindal*~

A friend that I have never met
except through our Maker's grace
Sent a special gift to me
I want to say thanks to her
for this smile of serenity on my face

A tiny Indian arrowhead
from the land where my heritage was driven
She unearthed it from the 'hidden mounds'
and so unselfishly to me she has given

My mind is awash with thankfulness
to hold this piece of history
Wondering of the one who carved it
presents a spiritual mystery

To have reached back through the years
and shared this find with me
has filled my heart with love
for my sister-friend, Marcy

I bequeath upon you
the honorary Cherokee name of
<~~ Heart-Talking Woman ~~>
With so much love and peace
<~~ White Feather ~~>

Marge; a lovely thankful poem to our Marcy. She deserves it, her heart is as warm and big as you describe. I miss you, Marcy.

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

White Feather's treasure
from Heart Talking Woman
looms across the Moons
arrow touched by Shaman

arrow intact saw lives pass
gave food, protected tribe
and know from Horse Woman
Heart Talking Woman is as described

Dear White Feather,
I have been saving the arrowhead for you, it's rightful owner and it was MY pleasure,
to give to YOU.  Your beautiful, thankful
poem to me is worth more than the possession of it's token and it is I, who feel honored &
thankful for your kindness with this special
poem, (which brought me to tears).
You are a special lady and I knew that the minute I went to your web page. The love and
honor you bring to your people in not allowing their memory & past to be forgotten is spiritual indeed, and I felt "moved" and know God shows favor toward you, deservingly so.
Thank you for this beautiful poem, which is a treasure to me always. It is beautiful.

Your friend,
Heart Talking Woman

Ellie~
She does indeed have a warm and caring heart.
And her picture is so lovely too.

Karilea~
We three spirited women ride together through
the thoughts of our hearts.
Strong, yet caring ...
and stronger still ... because we care.

WhiteDove~
Kind just doesn't seem to do her justice.
She has the caring soul of an angel in my book.
What a treasure to have found her friendship.

Heart-TalkingWoman~
My friend, my friend -
You honor me and please know that the arrowhead
has it's place on my wall now.
I framed it in a shadow box and printed this poem on a background of image of a spirited Indian woman ... it's beautiful !
Bless you for your thoughtfulness.
I love you.

Oh Wow....I am simply speechless here.... Trust me all, that doesn't happen often!!!  How blessed are all of us to have found each other here...Marcy, you have one of the sweetest hearts I've ever known, truly touched by the hand of God; and Marge... my, my, my....such a loving tender soul, I know for sure that some day when we're all together in that great beyond, I will recognize those gentle feathers on your wings!  Becky, Karilea, Ellie.....my gosh, I'm all mush here.... Feeling great just seeing a piece of each of your hearts.  A truly beautiful poem Marge, a truly beautiful gesture Marcy.  Bonnie

Bonnie~
Thank you for those lifting words, my friend.
We are all drawn together by the grace of our Maker.
My joy comes from sharing my work with
friends and His blessings with all.
*Hugs* to you, sweet friend.

Marge~

What a special tribute to a special friend.  You are both very lucky to have touched each other's lives in such a way.  This is a wonderful poem my friend.  Your heart is gold.

Marcy~
What a thoughtful thing to do.  I know Marge will treasure it always.
