He's Making Rounds
~*Marge Tindal*~

If you think God has forsaken you,
you can think again.
When he isn't there at your beck and call,
He may be tending the heart of a friend.

He won't forget you need Him
and He'll be back your way.
When the friend He's tending is comforted
and sends Him to you on this day.

Asking God to sit
at the hearth of a friend,
is the greatest give you can give
your friend who needs a friend.

Your friend will know you sent Him.
When his need is through,
your friend will ask God
to sit countenance with you.

Standing up applauding!! Preach it sister girl. When we cover others with our prayers He makes sure our needs are met also. Sending out a prayer for my sweet Marge right now.

that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song

Marge, dear Marge--
This is a lovely poem of Godly care and concern- both of God for us, us for friends, and friends for us.  How really blessed we are in many ways--thank you for the wonderful reminder.   David

WOW- another day of life-and here among friends!

He gives me the words to validate my soul.

This friend would ask that you send prayers

Thank you for the reply and more for the prayers.
Would seem that the hurricane has broken up
pretty much after making landfall on the West Coast.
My son and his wife said it was very windy
and produced extreme amounts of rain ...
but on the whole it would appear that we've
again dodged the bullet.
Prayers are surely appreciated.
God does indeed work through the prayers of friends.
Love ya'

This one made me smile.  Just the thought of God sitting and comforting a friend through the power of prayer... and then the thought that my friend will be praying for me and God will continue the rounds to my side to do the same... I never thought of prayer that way, but it is that way and this is so beutiful how God works.  Us friends just keep praying and blessing each other with God's presence. This is Great, Bob <><

Always - Always ...
May you find Him in the comfort of prayers
sent to you from a friend.

His grace is so wonderful.
To know that I can summon Him to be with
friends in their time of need is a blessing to me.
Thank you for letting me know that you
found 'thought' in this little piece.

Wonderful message Marge! Reminds me, "Prayer is not the least of what you can do, but the most."

It is a gift, of which is the greatest gift you can give.

Thank you for reading my heart.

I find that the more prayers I send in the name of others ...
the more are surely returned so graciously in mine.

He finds the time to tend to His flock, always.

Thank you so much.
This past week has certainly proven my own
thoughts to be true when I wrote this.

I had a need and friends in abundance sent
God to sit countenance in my heart.
So glad to share with others.

Tis true in so many ways and I KNOW for fact as of late as I have found this to be so true thanks to some very special friends and you my sweet friend are one of them.  He speaks to me loudly and with the help of one special friend I am finding just how often he can make it around as he seems to be spending so much time with me of late.  Beautiful my friend.  I needed this one tonight and you have given me what I so deeply needed.

My friend ... yes, when you have the need
it is easy to see Him in the face of a friend.

Know that you are surrounded with friends
and He knows your heart has need at this time.

I love you, Mark Bohannan ... that's what friends do best !
Bless you.

marge,
a wonderful thought. i especially liked your unusual use of the word "countenance." i assume you mean it in the sense of "face to face." i have long been fascinated with the image of moses on mount sinai talking with jehovah as a friend "face to face."
i find praying for others a great anxiety reliever, since it takes the focus off from my own troubles. what the hay! when I regain
perspective, things in my life are pretty good after all.

Winnifer~
Oh ... indeed a face-to-face comfort
with our Maker is the intended reference.

When perhaps a friend cannot be there in that
face-to-face situation
I feel that God carries their expressions of love,
encouragement and moral support.

What better comfort than to meet Him face-to-face
in our time of need.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
