Today my little Shelby called out Mamaw...
she said, "mmaaam-maahhh"
I said, "come here my precious baby"
she said, "here my are"

Oh, the joy that floods my soul...
and today I thanked the Lord for His gifts, to me,
then He said, "come here my precious child"
I said, "here my are, Lord"

I know how He must have felt
for I felt the same, when I called out His name
and how Shelby called out to me,
the love exposed and exploded inside of me

Oh, Marcy, My heart is bursting with warmth and love. You captured this tender moment and made such a real picture of the feelings.
Moments like these are so precious. I can't seem to find the right words to describe how I feel right now, Your heart is so beautiful to feel and know Jesus' love was all wrapped up in this child's love!  Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

The joy we feel at our named called by someone we love, can only touch the love  God has for us.
He wants us to call him by name.
Thanks for the reminder.
great writing!

Marcy,
This is wonderful-from the  mouth of babes!
How wonderful the simple responses we can make in Love and humility and show to our God the childlike spirit He seek in us.  This is a great object lesson well stated--God bless you, and little Shelby too,  David

WOW- another day of life-and here among friends!
Ain't God Grand!

Aren't children special?  Unless we can trust our Heavenly Father like little Shelby trusts her Mamaw, we can not enter in.  I love the child like faith demonstrated by your little one... God Bless You, Bob <><

Marcy~
The minute I saw the title, I knew I would
love this and I DO !
So many sweet memories it conjured from days gone by.
Thank you for sharing a *sigh* from your heart.

Oh Marcy my precious sister in the Lord and daughter of the Most High King. How you have tenderly touched my heart with this. Give your wonderful Shelby a warm hug for me.
Love you,
Juls
