Lambs lost in the
tangled web
of knarled wordly
dark, and empty
promises.
Seeking they know
not what.
Searching their fullfillment,
and frantic needs,
in people, places,
and things, that will
never satisfy,
their endless neediness.
Like sheep without a
shepherd,
they are aimless,
and endlessly unsatisfied,
until they tumble into
that dark pit of despair,
and at long last,
cry out for the Shepherd,
and oh, how He flies
to their rescue,
leading them, at long last,
with His boundless Love.
Shepherding them to safe
pastures in His
everlasting arms.
Fufilling every need,
to overflowing satisfaction
of Loves eternal Grace.

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.
