Miracles, I believe, still take place
In everyday life, they're interlaced.
What appears miraculous to me,
Another may consider just plain lucky.

"Girls, help  with dinner dishes, please."
"As soon as they're done I want to leave."
My 9 year old son was hospitalized.
From home it was a half hour drive.

Dishes done, other duties held me.
Hubby said,"I thought you were going?"
"I am," I said, "After this, then that."
Then thunder roared and lightening flashed.

The rain began so forcefully,
But leaving then seemed right to me.
It came so fast and furiously,
I could barely see the street.

I pulled into the hospital parking lot,
Dashed to the door, but was sopped.
In the bathroom, I wrung my clothes out,
Proceeding to the room with my scout.

A news flash came on his T.V.
A tornado'd strick just ahead of me...
About 10 munutes before I drove through,
Four homes on that street lost their roofs.

       ***********************

Another time, driving my Mom to the Greyhound bus,
A slow switching freight train long delayed us.
A half hour late, we arrived at an intersection,
Where there'd just been a terrible 5 car collision.

Further delayed, we were rerouted.
That we were spared by that freight, I never
                                     doubted.
We mazed our way arriving nearly and hour late,
As her bus pulled in and up to the loading gate.

YES! YES! Yes! and Amen! Wonderful...Challenge very well met! ..and I agree with you, that wasn't luck or co-incidence either, that was God causing your diversions to spare you and yours (or keep you out of harms way).  I too, have had things similiar to this happen and somehow knew it was the Mighty Hand of God interceeding. Thank you, thank you for this beautiful testimony written so very well.
Love, Marcy

LOL I just replied to your reply in the challenge and looked down and there it was already done! LOL

Great stories! It's so awesome to see the work of God. Though we get irritated because we aren't out when we want to be, but there's always a reason.

Thank you for taking part in the challenge!

LOL...This brought a huge smile to my face. Luck? I think not. Our God is always working behind the scene. I know there are many things we don't understand when they happen but when things like this happen we can only give HIM the glory and honor as you have so beautifully done. Well done well done.

Ah, Sandgrain, I know of which you speak. How many times tradgedy has been avoided in my life by His staying gentle hand. You have written well of His glorious miracles. Love, Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Sandgrain, He does touch us in miraculous ways doesn't He?  What a beautiful way to share those wonders with us.  Bonnie

PS - Thank you for your kind replies, they do mean so much to me.

These are wonderful miracles that reminds me that God is involved with my everyday living.  I am sure that there are miracles daily from God that I just take for granted.  You have shared such vision to recognize these miracles in your life.  God Bless You, Bob <><

Thank you Marcy, WhtDove and Juls for your kind comments, and Ellie, Bonnie and Bob, too. Another miracle is to be able to relate these things to wonderful people like all of you who share the realization!

David, thank you for reading and responding.  Your comments are always so encouraging.
I asked WhtDove how many miracles we should write about in this challenge, as I can think of so many, many more and I'll bet there are numerous ones I haven't even recognized.

I read this and the comments, and believe me, if you are a part of a miracle [as you already ARE a miracle], then, share, share, share!
