Janie~

  Darlings of today
  Eternal hopes of tomorrow
  Little urchins of love
  In our hearts
  Giving us hope
  Holding our hearts
  Threading our lives
  Fully within
  Utopia's dreams
  Loving us unconditionally

*Simply inspiring was your acrostic.
Thank you for sharing.

Janie; What a delightful poem! As the mother of six children, I can really appreciate this lovely verse. beautifully written! Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

oh Janie, this is adorable! I love it and you are so right on!  I have some bundles of joy, named: Jim, age 9; Tyler, age 5; and Shlby, age 15 months; my grandchildren and my world!  Loved this one.  Marcy

Janie,
I have no children of my own, but I appreciate your very wonderful view of the subject in this lovely Acrostic.  David

I have already printed myself an E-card of your poem to remind me about how precious my children are to me...  I will keep it on my refrigerator.  Thank you, Bob <><

Janie you've so accurately expressed children.
The innocence through children's eyes and how they see the world is just amazing!

Their laughter is contagious...
There wonder makes us amazed.
True gifts of God. Miracles of God, and I'm so happy I have 3 of those miracles!

This was simply wonderful!!!

How fitting is your acrostic.  I've been richly blessed with 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.  Still have 1 unmarried son, too.
Perhaps David wasn't given children of his own but I'll bet there are quite a number in his church family.

I liked this poem a lot, it was very fun and cute. I could see a teacher using it in her classroom.  Im not blessed with children, but the hope of them in the future. I'm printing this off to keep forever, well written.  You should be proud!
