Picture a picture: the land serene
Of mountains, meadows, and evergreens
Rivers thick with salmon sheen

Picture a picture: deep blue above
Singing of oriole and turtledove
The embrace of all-encompassing Love

Picture a picture: dusk burning red
All of Creation from spoken Word said
Picture a picture in your head

In this forum, I am humbled by your many replies.  I started writing during my first semester at Abilene Christian University, and haven't stopped, at least, not for long.  However, I find it hard to express in poetry my deep and abiding love for my Father.  I realize this is a gift bestowed, this writing, but it is so difficult to aptly portray my emotions for Him, the Word.  What words can I create which will do Him honor and justice?  For I gaze through a mirror but darkly...only when I am with Him totally will I feel ... good enough to truly do Him justice with my mere words.  Ah...I've meandered and rambled again...such comes with age, I reckon.

Pax Christu, ya'll.
