Greater Is He

One night in deepest sleep,
I suddenly awoke.
For a moment I was confused,
Then I sensed the presense,
Glooming in my room.
The evil was so strong,
I felt it very clear.
My heart began to pound.
I was gripped with total fear.
But precious Holy Spirit,
Who lives inside of me,
Reminded me of His word,
And how to make this flee.
I sat up in my bed,
The anointing became very strong.
With authoritative voice I spoke,
"Demonic spirit, in the name of Jesus, you be gone".
I smiled and layed back down.
And chuckled to myself,
Silly devil,
You messed with the wrong girl,
For greater is He who lives in me,
Than he who is in the world.

The Devil knows no shame... I recall that during our honeymoon, We felt that same presence. My newly wed wife and I also rebuked that same darkness and enjoyed a special time of intimacy. You would think that the Devil should know better, not to try and pick on two Christians at the same time? A very enjoyable poem that brought back some good memories for me... God Bless You, Bob <><

Juls, girlfriend, I love this!! I do the same thing, when I s'pect ole satan messen' 'round, I just call out loud that Holy name of "JESUS", he'll scoot!! His very name scares him off. Praise His holy precious name, Jesus. Love, Marcy
