A fat red spider
has woven
a web so intricate
beside the garden
wall.
Dewy drops of rain
make it shimmer
in the sun.
I'm in awe at
the perfect pattern
so delicate, so fine.

Just as a soul
in surrender,
to Your ever gracious
Love,
will weave a perfect
life of choices,
guided by Your Grace.
For whatever then
befalls,
be it sorrow,
or great joy,
Your pattern woven
in the heart,
who trusts Your
Word complete,
will always be at
peace within,
Your mighty web
of Love.

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Very beautiful Ellie, so wonderful your craft of poetry to find and spin such beautiful words from a spider's web.

Ellie,
  You see beauty everywhere
  You have Faith's glasses on
  And with that Love
  Stored in in your Heart
  You share your awesome Psalms.

We are truly blessed to have you share your lovely spiritual observations, and sweet devotions. You are consistently inspiring!

I am so amazed at what you see in your spiritual garden. It is a never ending display of Love and Praise, and always so beautifully spoken.

Ellie,
This beautiful poem of praise has been woven by the wisdom and understanding you have been graced and entrusted with. As a wise steward you share it with others, the manifold blessings of God through your sweet poetry. May God continue to bless you my Sister.

Ellie you've captured the beauty and love in all it's simplicity! I'd like to add this one to the site as well, if that's all right with you?

You do have a most enchanting spiritual garden and I do enjoy viewing it with you through your poetry...  I do admit that I am a little frightend of those black spiders with a red dot on their chest though.   Bob <><

My, my, my Ellie - I just never thought I would ever in my wildest dreams think of His love as a web to enfold and hold us like this.  Those little eight legged critters scare the daylights out of me and the very thought of a "fat red spider"....arghhhhhh. This is going to be quite a job, but I will try to remember this the next time one of those arachnids is after me!!!!!  Bonnie
