~Believing~
i don't believe in 'god'.
why is this such a flaw?
if he made you and me
then where was he,
when i lost my soul?
that night i payed the toll,
i lost the only one
that i really loved.
if he took him away
then why must i stay?
the thought was never conceived
that i would not believe.
but now i don't
and now i wont.
because him leaving
stoped my believing.

I also am sorry for your loss! Tragic things in life happen. I don't know the circumstance here, but usually it is not God to blame, but human error, human mistakes, and human choices.  What you see that DOES come from God is the Good after an awful situation.

I'm truly sorry this made you stop believing.
I hope some day you'll come to realize, that the one you've lost is in safe hands with God.
I would assume here that this loved one wouldn't want you to stop believing because of what happened. As they are standing in the very presence of God and His love.

The will of God will never lead you, where the grace of God cannot keep you.

Nik, it is when we are most lost that we are kept most safe in His hands. It is not up to us to know God's plan, and as Whtdove so aptly expressed,
quote:
usually it is not God to blame, but human error, human        mistakes, and human choices.

The overwhelming losses you may be experiencing, loss of a loved one, loss of God, is something that everyone, at some time, will experience. It is unfortunate that young people ever have to experience these emotions and feelings, and I hope that as you grow, you will be able to use the depth of this emotion to help others.

If you want to talk, simply e-mail me.

Hugs,

Karilea

Nik, I've been sitting here for awhile now asking Holy Spirit what He would have me say to you. I can feel your pain and I'm so sorry for your loss. Jesus said in His own words in John 10:10, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destory. I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly." He comes to give us an abundant life. He's not the thief, but the express image of love and holiness. It's my prayer that He will reveal Himself to you in a mighty way. I shall be praying for you and this spirit of depression and oppression that seems to have a hold on you. If you ever need me I'm as close as an email away.
In His love, Juls
