My heels are dragging today Lord,
Just from the day to day grind,
Questions flung from every side
Needing answers I cannot find.
So I'm taking a walk down to the shore,
Where I'll share my worries with You,
Renew my faith and find the strength
To do what I have to do.
You'll sit on the dock beside me,
Perhaps dip Your toes in the lake,
Listen to my little worries,
As I learn which road I should take.
Gulls and doves will fill the sky,
Fish will jump just to see,
Trees will bow in wonder,
As You're sitting there with me.
Warmth will fill my troubled soul,
From the light that You impart,
And though there may still be questions,
I will have a much lighter heart.

Bonnie you never cease to leave me in awe by your words!

You have a beautiful spirit, and the words you write make that shine through. I know you shall be filled with that warmth and peace. I know I was as I read this!

Dearest Bonnie; Wonderful poem! I love that you know just where to meet Him and just what to do with those troubles. Foe me it's my garden, for you it's the dock, where we find that peace and all the answers. Some-
day we'll meet in both places! Love, ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.
