WHAT DID GOD REALLY SAY
Don’t listen to that serpents lies In  Christ
Your washed and sanctified.
You shall be become a whitewashed wall
If you think your justified by the Law.
Indeed it’s pleasing to the eye,
When we ate we found we died.
Regulations have no true value ,
By faith let Christ abide in you.
Observe the Law and fall from grace
Don’t be severed from your sure place.
You stand by faith or not at all,
Shrink not back into observing the Law
The Law is just, holy, and true
But we’re weak and it’s powerless to do
Anything but arouse the sin inside,
It’s okay…do not run and hide.
Take off your leaves, confess your sins
Let God’s love clothe you in skins.
The law was a tutor to lead you to Christ,
The hope of mankind is God’s sacrifice.
Skins are made for new wine to be poured,
New life granted by the blood of the Lord.
Let the old things truly pass away
And the new creation begin Today…..

Who told you that you were Naked
anyway?

P.S.   Remember not to mix the old wine with the new or “understanding” will be taken from you.

What a message you've left here! So true this is. Those that live by the Law shall die by the Law. But in no way has that Law been done away with.

For the the commandments that Jesus gave us, fulfills the law. The first 1, Love God with all your heart, mind and soul, would cover the first 5 commandements IF kept.

The second, Love thy neighbor as thyself would cover the latter 5 of the commandements IF kept.

It is true as sure that we fall short of all these. For breaking one of them, we break them all. Thank God for HIS saving grace!

I'm new here so I don't know whether I can "reply" back or not but I'll give it a go! I beleive this insight (not so much the poetry here, because I'm no poet like everyone here)is woven throughout scriptures in regards to our salvlvation. Types, paterns and symbols are my obsession! But I can't "teach" either! But how can one put a mystery into words except through poetry? I have yet to find a more effective way to communicate the hidden blessings of Jesus Christ found in God's fore knowledge! He's just so wonderful! Thank you for your thoughts! Love fulfills the Law and against which there is no Law! The obedience that comes "through" faith which is once again...a gift! What an incredible walk we have in Him! To behold the beauty of Him in order that we may be changed into His likeness! He is Lord! Amen. Sincerely FacesinHim

Want to let you know that you're more than welcome to reply in your own posts!

We usually all do it to give thanks to those who've taken the time to read and leave a reply. Or of course if we have something to add, such as you did, it's just fine!

We do have a wonderful walk in Him!  Thanks again.

So many laws and not enough time... judicial laws, moral laws, laws of nature, Spititual laws, Mosaic laws, laws upon laws...  I have a hard enough time remembering to put on my seat belt when I drive, I can't even imagine abiding by all the other laws.  I am glad that Jesus made it simple for folks like me... I believe with Christ, I have a good chance of being a law abiding citizen. Thank you for the encouragement.  Bob <><
