      Dark am I yet lovely

As I pass through the valley
  I find in my heart,
No light is present
For my light is dark.
On top of the mountain
A transfigured face!
That wraps me in beauty,
Transforms me in Grace!
Beholding Christ Jesus
I’m changed at my core,
Dark and yet lovely
In the eyes of the Lord.
He searches and knows me
  “inside my cup”
Into my darkness my Light
  Comes to “Sup”.
As I feast upon Him
   “on His Life Devine”
I partake of His nature
And He covers mine.

Well done!! I liked this one for I can truly relate to it. Thank God for the mountain top experiences for sometimes this helps us through the valleys when He is carrying us and our light is dark. Beautifully written. Enjoyed so much.

I too am thankful for those memorable oportunities that God has given to me to step out of my darkness into His marvelous Light. He is the Light of our soul...
I feel such victory in the spirit as I say those words out loud... "I am dark, but beautiful!" I love it! Bob <><
