I'm sitting her amongst
my children.
Three of them playing
a video golf game,
with shouts of
laughter,
and hoots of
cameraderie.
I love that they all
enjoy each others
company,
and get along like
old friends.

Joy to a mothers heart!

Because someday,
I won't be here,
but I'll know
that they will be
there for each other,
in times of need,
and in times of
celebration,
and my heart
is at peace.

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Oh Ellie, Isn't that the best feeling...when they get along and you KNOW that they will always be there for each other. Again you have beautifully captured one of those precious moments.  Bonnie

Thank you, Mom, for giving me such loving siblings...growing up was certainly never boring..and I loved every minute of it.  I just want to know where you were when Alex put a football helmet on Emily and sent her down the stairs in a cardboard box when we were little...   I love you , Mom.
Love, Beth

I truely enjoyed the moment. I think I could feel your heartbeat within this page. It spoke to me of a precious family love.
It was such a blessing to stop by, Mrs. ellie LeJeune. My heart was touched.

Ellie,
Indeed, what a beautiful thing it is to see our children build relationships with each other that will last them a lifetime.
Beautiful poem Sis!

Ellie, how perfectly you've captured this...it amazes me today, to see my children doing and acting just as you write...despite the sibling rivalry of the their youth.  Beautifully done.  Linda

Definitely every mother's prayer to have her children be close to each other.  However, I find (out of 5)two that went through periods of being like repelling magnets, became very respectful and caring later on, and some that were extremely close tend to distance themselves later, so it's an ever changing scene.  You're wise to charish the moments when all are close.

What a Blessing!!!  I have an older daughter (20) from a previous marriage that I was lucky to hear from once a year, but due to the Internet we have been reunited.  My younger daughter (10) prays for her every night and worships the days that she can spend with her....  Anyway, my older daughter will be visiting next month and I am really looking forward to getting my two daughters together again.  Bob <><
