Welcome little Nicholas
To God's kingdom in the sky
I know your parents miss you
And often wonder why...
God selected little you
From thousands of the rest
I guess it hard to understand
How truly you've been blessed
For angels, too, get lonely
And need a small one's smile
Someone they can take care of
As they journey their last mile
In heaven you are happy
Spared from the cares of Earth
A perfect tiny angel
Taken too soon after birth
God recognized a special need
For Him to show you love
And that is why He took you home
To live with Him above
I hope your parents understand
Although it's hard to do
That they will have eternity
To share their love with you
And when their journey's over
Their time on Earth is done
They must remember that you wait
For them beyond the sun
But for now when it is evening
And stars twinkle as they do
They need to know the brightest one
Dear Nicholas, is you

Ok, I'm sorry, but the Kleenex needs to be passed around with this one...that it is here indicates to me that it is of a factual nature, and I do not know if this is for you, or from you, but know that the parents who had to let go of their child so early are in my thoughts and prayers...

dear Linda; I too have lost a baby at three months, and I have reached acceptance, but the loss and sorrow remain in a corner of my heart. My prayers too are with the parents.
This poem says so much truth and hopefully will comfort. Love, ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Linda - Such a sad, yet beautiful poem.  I'm sure this brought much comfort to his parents at such an awful time.  Karilea is right about the kleenex, it is just so touching.  Bonnie

You've got the tears welling up in my eyes... a sure clasic for comforting the grieving spirit. We lost a little boy close to us this year and I am believing Matthew has a star right next to Nicholas.   Bob <><

Thank you all.  Little Nicholas was killed in a tragic car mishap at the tender age of 3. I'm sorry for those of you who have experienced the loss of a young or unborn child, and I do believe that they shine brighter in God's care than anyone.  And I'm sure Matthew and Nicholas are stars together.
