I want to walk through my garden
barefooted without fear of stray stones
to know the buried paths where the nettle
stings lies waiting, the predator thorn, soothed
only by the juice of dog weed.
I wish for my soles to thread the grass hover
gently as this cool summer breeze.
No foot prints nor laboured path to be left in my wake.

I want to walk through my garden
naked, to be accepted  as un-rooted branch
dancing upon her lush privacy, to flow through
the tangled undergrowth without rippling her soil
or disturbing a blade of grass,
everything untouched by my human clumsiness.
I am the rivers dew flow, the kiss of subtle motion
the serene breath of constant growth.

I want to walk through my garden,
extend my hands to the skies,
and bare fruit upon my fingers,
for birds to rest in the abandoned
aerie's of song bird wisdom,
I want be welcomed not as the
tolerated trespasser but the prodigal son,
to be droplet in its sea of electric current.

Brian; This is magical! Almost surreal and very enchanting! Wonderful! Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

This is incredibly lovely Brian ... mystical and so descriptive!  It just gently sings a peaceful song throughout these words. I'm with Ellie ... enchanting indeed!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Wow, I read this twice.  Love the wording used to express how deeply you want to know and appreciate all God offers in the garden.  You don't want to disturb a thing, but be welcomed to experience the totality of it all.  Wonderful.

What thoughts here! They run deep!
Oh to be like Jesus and not so much as break a bruised reed (which are very fragile).

You've set my mind on a journey! This is great!!!
