Beautiful lily,
fragrance divine,
fuschia and white,
glorious to see.
You spread your
petals,
and your beauty
unfolds a majestic
sight.
Will God's wonders
never cease?
This simple beauty,
and yet....

We make life
so complicated.
I remember when
my heart was full
of pain,
and my head,
a complicated miasma
of thoughts,
that I mistook
as deep and mysterious.

Now I find the deeper
I dwell
in Your Love,
my mind and heart
are as a childs.
Clear and simple,
uncomplicated.
Able to bask
in each moment
of Grace,
see clearly each
precious gift,
and know the joy
of Love Divine.

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

You have expressed here the secret of contentment. The simple beauties are those which give us the most pleasure, as long as we recognize them and take the time to appreciate them, and that is what your lily is all about.
Very beautiful, Ellie

Oh Ellie - Such a lovely reminder of how easily we can uncomplicate things.  Using one of those beautiful lilies to make us see how simple it is.  This is so wonderful... Bonnie

Awesome Ellie! Uncomplicated and seeing clearly, and able to bask in it. You've really defined things here. Almost a before knowing Him, and after knowing Him.
It really speaks!

Ellie,
I constantly marvel at your perceptiveness and you ability to bring out the profound from the simple things in life in such majestic poetic beauty.  (In other words- you've written another winner here!) Keep 'em coming- we are all blessed by such!
