I know I don't deserve it Why does He even care? Without Him I am nothing-- I wouldn't have a prayer. I am a poor investment No way I earn my keep, And yet He still doth love me For only my good, He seeks. I see not beyond today So much I do not know, But He who knows the future To me the Way, He will show. And many friends He gives me To so encourage me, And lift my head, when I'm down With all their sweet empathy. Grace to me is multiplied In many faces found, I often feel unlovely But God makes His Love abound. So let me e'er be thankful I'm not cast down, alone, But through matchless sacrifice With my Lord, I can be one. For e'er to Grace a debtor Yet through my Lord, I'm free, From my sin and shamefulness-- BECAUSE HIS GRACE REACHES ME! |
