Abba Father I cry to You
Please come to me today
I need Your touch, I need Your words
I need You please to stay.

Those around me greatly mock You Name
Tearing me apart
They proclaim You are a myth
And that You have no start.

It weakens my soul, oh my God
Causing great despair
Fill me with Your Spirit afresh
Answer now my prayer.

Jesus, I love You more than life
You are my everything
Grant me courage, make me wise
My God, my precious King.

Abide within my heart always
Be my All in All
Lead me, love me, fill my life
My King who has no flaw.

This is a lovely prayer poem of seeking, submission and true hymble- a lovely poem and a beautiful reflection on The writer and one's Heavenly Father.

I love your poem here and "ABBA" is a wonderful word cause it means "father" or "Daddy". He is our dear and faithfully loving Daddy. Ellie

I found something you might like to go into the edit function and correct. The second stanza, first line...Those around me greatly mock "You" Name

Might want to change that You into a Your.

As a child of our Heavenly Father, it does break our hearts to witness a world that rejects our Father's Love for them. I know it breaks His heart as well... It is a blessing to read of a person who loves the Lord as you have described.
