Can't you feel His gentle grace
In the crystal drops of rain?
Can't you feel His mercy,
As He rids you of your pain?
Can't you see His beauty
As the sun sets every night?
Can't you hear His music
As the birds sing in delight?
Can't you smell His heavenly scent
In the roses that abound?
Can't you see His angels,
In the friends you have around?
Can't you see His humor
As squirrels scurry up trees,
Can't you feel His gentle touch,
In a warm, soft summer's breeze.
Can't you feel His blessing
In every single thing there is?
As He fills our lives with beauty
That He so graciously gives?

Yes, I can, and it was quite delightful to see you put this very feeling into words that everyone can enjoy!  Well done!

You have brought to light the gentleness and tenderness of God in this most precious poem.  You have once again awakened my spiritual senses.  God Bless You,  Bob <><

oh, Bonnie, Yes I can and you and your poetry most of all! Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

You and I speak and think very much alike in our poetry and in our thoughts of God.  I love this poem and how you express you image of God.  I find it humorous that your writing seems so much like mine in some ways.  May God continue to bless you and your writing.  I'll look forward to reading more of your writing.

Bonnie this is so breathtaking! You've written a masterpiece that has moved to the top of favorites! I adore this one!  I know I use to many of these (!!!) LOL

You've described something so profound, I can't find words to do justice. If you don't mind, I'm going to print this out and keep in my fav's?

Thanks for this.  I take my little girl out on mornings to see the squirells, and I tell her that JAH made them.  She's only six months.. but I tell her.  I know HE lives.

Seeing our Lord in all things changes our perception and direction.  You've painted Him beautifully.  Thank you.
