Your Life is your own Parade Marching through the streets of time, It's you who designs all the floats The antics,the bands and the mimes. Don't be sitting on the curb Passing time while your life goes by, But be like that bold drum major Lead forth your band, stepping high! Your Life is your own Parade You are it's celebrity, Make your's a parade all admire A life others are glad to see. For many are there watching To cheer you and to be blest, You go but once down life's Main Street So make sure you're showing your best! Your Life is your own Parade A string of many a sight, Joining to make the procession Thus is the making of our life. So as much as the choice is yours Decide a great life be made, So when the last float passes by 'Twill be said, "What a Grand Parade!" |
