He doesn't tell a whopper
Nor is he known for tales tall,
But in the final analysis
He's the biggest liar of all.

He may have many friends around
Who think that he's just fine,
For he has them all well fooled
At to what he is inclined.

Who is this silent liar
Of which our words doth tell?
He is the one who lives a lie
In his deceptive shell.!

He may think he's winning
No one will ever know!
But he's e'en deceived himself
As God,in time will show.

The Bible says, All Liars
Shall have their part, you see,
In the fiery burning lake
For all eternity!

Don't let appearances deceive you
Or let sin give you some clout,
For the Bible truly says,
"Your sins will find you out."

So whether Lies are verbal
Or clothed in hypocrisy,
Let us resolve thier flat rejection
'Tis best for you and me!

David: Very chilling and I always have a hard time discerning this in another. I guess there are people like this and you said it that God knows the truth. This is a sad commentary for those whose lives are lived so. Good write here David. Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Dear David,
  Pretty powerful! Very well written.

"So whether Lies are verbal
Or clothed in hypocrisy,
Let us resolve thier flat rejection
'Tis best for you and me!"

I wish I understood where you were coming from here so I could better respond. Pray for them and ask ourselves, what would Jesus do?

Blessings,
Marcy

Powerful David, but, it's some pretty scary stuff you're talking about here....and I wonder, do some of them even know they are doing it????  As always, very well written. Bonnie

David, I see your point here in this poem, an many people in our lifetime will deceive us, whether we are aware of it or not. I know a few in my own life that have done so, and I know they are like this, but I always hope and pray they change.

David so truthful! I like this one much.
Satan is the 'father' of all lies. He is deceptive and I guess I would say he's decieved himself also. So much so, that even though he knows the Word, he still thinks he'll win.
