Day one..I fell throught the ice
Day two..frozen, I floated motionless
Day three... I saw a glimmer of light!
Day four.. Hope helped thaw my frozen state
Day five.. I reached my hand out to yours
Day six.. You gently carried me to the shore..
Day seven.. Heaven blessed me
With a second birth.

Dearest friend; My heart aches at this poem. Haunting and sad and yet so much promise of eternal reward. Love, Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.
