I Hear You… My child, I've heard your whispers when you speak to the silence in your mind, you ask me what I see in you if I see in you any reason or rhyme. I see the great cheer in you and in you I see the delight, as you go forth to the less fortunate and guide them through the night. I see the shame in you for past transgressions wrought, I see the forgiveness that you ask for you've realized what can't be bought. I see in you, my child, the hurt over your stubborn pride, and I would ask that you continue to pray and from me, never hide. I see past pain, and continued hope I see troubled shadows creep within, I see you raise your eyes to heaven I see the tremble in your chin. In your eyes I see your grace, I see the tears well up in your eyes every time you lift your face your love cannot be compromised. I see a heart that bares its soul I see you impart great golden goals even though yours have not been met you've prayed to me, I don't forget. I see you try to do your best, and every day you wonder "oh my ~ did I slip, break a heart, or worse?" that's when I caught you on the fly. O my child, continue on, do your best in my name and continue please to pray to me, and I will keep you from shame. Sunshine, Our Father in heaven is probably still braging on you to Moses or Abraham about this message in poem to us. Each line represents most all of us at a given time and what a grand service you have done in reminding us, God knows all, loves all and continually catching us. He is so wonderful. Never stop praying to Him. Really Great! |

Oh Sunshine, this is so touching.. I see past pain, and continued hope I see troubled shadows creep within, I see you raise your eyes to heaven I see the tremble in your chin. The whole poem sings, but those lines particularly reached me. Simply beautiful. |

Sunshine I love this one! It touches right in the heart of each one who reads it! Perfection in words, I think this is just what God sees in us. He sees all and I really needed this. It did make tears well up in my eyes. Really makes you stop and think and from His point of view. Too often we just don't do that  Beautiful! |

Sunshine, This is the first of your poems that I've read, since I'm very new to Passions. I'm not so good at poetry, I'm more at home in Prose. But I was browsing and read this poem. It's very touching, a comforting look into what God might think when he sees us. Though I have trouble believing he thinks that of me.... LOL Thanks for this read. Erin |
