I see many reminders
Of my Father dear,
And I really miss him
Still wishing he were here.

I hear his hearty laughter
I see his sense of good,
I witness his work ethics
For his own providing food.

He's been gone so many years
Yet all the time, things I see
Reminding me of my precious Dad
Seeing him more and more in me.

Gone, but still I see him
He's dead--but still lives on
Like Abel being dead, yet speaking
Through the lives of his two sons.

David; A loving tribute for a father who obviously loved and cherished you and gave his very best. No wonder you are such a good and gentle person. Ellie

What a beautiful tribute to your Dad David.  Isn't it wonderful to see how much they are still with us.  How great the relationship must have been.  Bonnie

David what cherished memories you share of your Dad. This is a loving tribute on such a special day, Father's Day!

And who remembered to tell our Father above HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Your loving tribute to your father reminds me of my mother who passed away when I was two.  Though I never knew her, many people say I am very much like her.  If we have had the opportunity to interact with them or not, I really believe that we do carry on many of our parent's characteristics.  I believe, how you have spoken so fondly of your father can also be interpreted as a wonderful tribute to you and your brother.
