It is a perfect
summers morning.
The birds are singing,
the sun is shining,
and the garden is splendant
with blossoms beauty.

Thank You Father
for the wonder
of it all!

As I chase the cat
back into the house,
The sun plays with
my hair,
and I feel like a
child again,
running through
the dewy grass,
summer breezes
kissing my face.

All Your promises
alive in my heart,
captured fully in
a summers morning
of delight.

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Once again, your poetry has aroused my senses.  Thank you for that summer breeze.
It is over 100 degrees here.  My cat also wants to run outside, but she needs to take her coat off first. I enjoyed it.

Ellie, your poems are always a breath of fresh air, a gentle breeze, and a garden of serenity--I too love your wonderful ability to capture the moment- and see the heavenly blessings suggested by them.
Thank for aonther good one,   David

Oh Ellie another beautiful, sweet poem.  This is just so tender, and carefree.  I love the images that this brings to mind... and may every sunrise bring you nothing but a "summers morning of delight."  Bonnie
