I have a dear sister,
A poetess sage,
As her verse is read,
Butterflies escape off the page!

Her praises are known,
So reverent and pure,
Thought not always rhymed,
Her message is clear!

She touches our hearts,
With each stroke of her pen,
Such lasting impressions,
From a true, valued friend!

She's adopted two brothers,
As her own sibling kins,
Instead of just one,
She settled for twins!

My sister from Passions,
So talented and sweet,
Dear Ellie, I'm so blest,
To learn at your feet!

And though we may here,
Never meet face to face,
I'll look forward to greet you,
In our GODS' heaven place!

Oh, Dennis, No one anywhere more deserving than ellie. What a precious tribute to a kind and gentle saint as she, your adopted sister. I think this is so sweet and I agree with your every praise.   Blessings, Marcy

Dear brother Dennis; Wow! I am speachless!
What a magnificent present to come home from work and find. Do you have any idea how honored I feel? This poem is so lovely, I will treasure it. Thank you so much, dear brother. Love, Ellie C);^)

 Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Ellie,
I believe Dennis put it very well, and I am glad to see you honored in this way-for I feel that you are well deserving of the recognition given. You are a precious friend, a wonderful Godly ,so inspiring poet, Mother and Sis. too.  I am so happy things are working out for you so nicely at this time.
Dennis--(this reply is actually in response to your poem) let me say-you make me proud also to be your brother, for you too, are a wonderful, uplift and inspiration to so many through the skillful excerciser of your God-given talents and abilities, And you use them in a wonderful way, such as in this present tribute to Ellie.  I am most blest to be able to say, I am blessed, even by birth-and thus by God, to be your brother.
       Love always,  David

Dennis; I'm adding this reply so that I can enter it in my new privat library. Then I can read this lovely poem again whenever I want. Thank you again for this gift. Ellie
