Hi every one, sorry I've been away so long. Have been having a really bad time health wise, but I have been reading the forum. Wow, we are growing like crazy! Well here is my poem, it is not a new one but reading Allstaria's poem made go looking for this one again. Here goes

I am a child of God,
and I trust Him to take care of me.
When my problems are more than I can handle,
I turn them over to my Father so He can set me free.
I am a student of God,
and I study His book to know Him better.
I learn His word and all that He expects from me,
As His pupil I learn He will forgive my debts as I forgive my debtor.
I am a lamb of God,
and I always follow in the steps of my shepherd.
I will graze in His fields and drink of His water,
I will lay down beside Him, for He called and I heard.

"The grace of the Lord be with you all."
- Rev. 22:16
"Oh that I had wings like a dove! For then I would fly away and be at rest."
- Psalm 55:6

Dear erieval, AMEN! Beautiful and flowing poem of serving The Living God. Loved it.

"I am a lamb of God,
and I always follow in the steps of my shepherd.
I will graze in His fields and drink of His water,
I will lay down beside Him, for He called and I heard."

Erie, I hope you're feeling better? I'm glad you went searching for this one!

Great work. I love how this was put together and it's just as we should be. I can't really find the words to explain what I'm thinking! It's so "Godly."  Shows a strong faith.
