WHAT YOU OFFER

In the melody of heavenly tunes
the Lord sings sweet song to me
in the gentleness of His tender touch
is where my spirit longs to be

In the stillness of a quiet moment
His heart beats in time with mine
in the breath of indecision
my God sends me a positive sign

The warmth of the real sunshine
is found in the love of the Lord
the true will and way of living
is with Jesus in one accord

In my battles with the devil
Jesus sends protective clothing my way
no principality or darkness
can make me bow down to another and pray

In self pride surrender is for losers
but in Jesus surrender equals win
for when you become open and broken
the Lord can remove all of your sin

The clock ticks 24 hours a day
and with each second past God waits for me
longing that I will make Him part
of every moment of my day you see

For God longs to be with me
hearing my promise, praise and prayers
rejoicing in our special union
full of honesty,respect and care

Jesus knows that perfect I'll never be
till its time and He calls me home
but His smile is a radient sight
when He is pleased with the seeds I have sown

What a joy it is my Jesus
to just spend my time with you
learning-obeying-seeking
"what you offer" to carry me through

Rose, Another beautiful poem filled with love, hope and truth.

"The warmth of the real sunshine
is found in the love of the Lord"

"Jesus knows that perfect I'll never be
till its time and He calls me home"

I loved every line of this poem. You have a precious heart filled with the love of Jesus. We are flesh, our flesh sins but Praise His Holy Name, Jesus forgives us.

Blessings,
Marcy

Hi Rose Mary,
Great poem. I could just feel your love for the Lord pouring from this poem.
When I say my prayers I always ask the Lord to let me be able to put a smile upon His face by pleasing Him every single day.
Keep that love flowing so that we can collect it and enjoy it's refreshing qualities. Thanks for sharing.
God bless,
Erie

This is so uplifting, encouraging and beautiful! I needed this and to hear these words today!
How he does love His children, and it made me think, if we're sad when our children go astray, how it must make God feel when we do.

I loved this verse!

The warmth of the real sunshine
is found in the love of the Lord
the true will and way of living
is with Jesus in one accord

And wow, we were all in one accord in the beginning! And we again someday shall be!
