She has her tender moments, when she gets time to be alone That is to say, when she's not working, cleaning, or lifting up a loved one on the phone Those precious, timeless, feelings, of love and joy, and thankfulness She holds them close, then she cradles them, smiling, beaming upward, her heart so richly blessed She knows it comes from Jesus, and tells him thank you as she prays I'm sorry Lord, her heart cries to him, that I forget sometimes, you're with me everyday She's so much fun to be with, she'll make you laugh, she'll hear your plea She'll see you through your struggle, happy, cause you're happy, that's my sister Janie Marie [This message has been edited by Jester59701 (edited 06-06-2000).] |

Jester, What a special brother, Janie Marie has. This will overwhelm her. Such a loving tribute to a sister. A very humbling, beautiful poem. I have no earthly brothers and sisters but I have a slew of them in Christ Jesus and you my brother I count. Your poem, just beautiful. Marcy |

Hi Becky! It's always so nice to see you! Jane is really my sister, I have 4 sisters, she's the oldest, I also have 5 brothers. ( Guess who's right in the middle of all of them!) I just wasn't sure about posting here, cause it's not really that spiritual of a poem. I knew you'd let me anyway. Hi Marcy! You're so sisterly! Jane doesn't know anyone here, she doesn't write, but she likes what I write. I think WhtDove knew she was a sister in the lord, but didn't know she was my true blood sister too. You know Jess, I thought you were talking about Janet Marie, the one who's in Open. LOL Must be two different people if she don't write. Cause the Janet Marie I know writes poetry LOL. I see now it's Janie and not Janet. Sorry, I misunderstood. But the poem is spiritual and it's fine right where it is. |
