A time to get together, Hooray!
To be closer to those we love,
O Happy and Glad reunion day
To share our Time, our Lives, and our Hugs.

To be closer to those we love,
We must set times to be there,
To share our time, our lives, our hugs
And catch up with those we care.

We must set times to be there,
Take or make time that we need,
And catch up with those we care
The importance of Fam'ly to heed.

Take or make time that we need,
for our Loved Ones won't e'er be around,
The importance of Fam'ly to heed
Renewing,securing our Bonds.

For our Loved Ones won't e'er be around
So now is the cherishing time
Renewing, securing our bonds
That we as family can find.

So now is the cherishing time,
O happy and glad reunion day,
That we as a family can find
A time to get together, Hooray!

It pleases me much that your reunion was everything you hoped for, and more...

David; This is terrific! I can see how it's done, repeating lines, but tricky. Great job.
It sounds like you are having a lovely time.
I'm so glad. Great that the library is working out so we can all still get your wonderful poetry. Ellie

David, Oh, so true. I found I have a second family, several people from different groups, I feel as though I have known them all my life. I love your poem, I think it would make a great song. Keep sharing. marcy
