         Life
A journey that never ends...
A trail that always bends...
A crossroad always ahead...
A time when one is dead...

So many things to learn of...
So many things to teach...
So many ways to go at....
But, only one to keep...

This confusing story lies...
For its name is truly life...
And ever person faces it...
At one point of their lives'...

a lovely poem, really cheerful,
and I love the rhythm of the words.

I love the last two lines.
And ever person faces it...
At one point of their lives'...

"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too? "
Douglas Adams.

"Here chewing your tail is joy"

Richey Edwards

"Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time".

Baltimore Grotto

"Do not listen to a word I say
Just listen to what I can keep silent"

Nicky Wire

Aw, you like it? Thanx...I usually write sad poems, but this time I decided to write a joyful one. Its mostly about life--The truth about it. Well, thank you kindly for taking the time to read my poem.

It is amazing how difficult and complex life is- which gives challenge and varience and many decision as we weigh our options. I found this poem interesting and encouraging to take on the challenges.  David

Yes, life shows to be very complex--It has it's hard times, It's sad times, It's confusing times, and It's joyful times. All these unquie times much be handled well though-Even if most of the time we dont understand why they happen. I'm truly glad, though, that you found this poem encouraging. That is the one thing I love to hear.

This is lovely, all the choices we have and without guidance, it's really hard. Very inspiring!  Ellie
