What is on the horizon

What is on the horizon
Waiting for me
Someday I will swim out there
Someday I will see
The light is shinning brightly
But I must turn my face
If I look for to long
My heart will give up the race
I miss my father
I miss my brother
I know I will see them
I know they love me
But I can not stop now
To give up would be defeat
But I know I would not be disowned
There is the light
I see it brighter now
Still at the horizon’s edge
But I keep going
My friends need me
My lord let me be
Your soldier on this earth
To fight the war against your enemies
To save the souls that are lost
So I pick up the pace
I will finish this race
When I fall you pick me up
When I doubt you give me worth
If I cry you dry my tears
When I get hurt you take my pain
My race is almost over
This trek is almost down
I surrender this mortal shell
For I long to go home

work like you don't need the money,
dance like no one's watching, and
love like you've never been hurt

Dearest, you hold such strength in yourself. I enjoyed your spiritual words.

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate, Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer's lease hath all too short a date. Sometimes too hot the eye of heaven shines, And often is his gold complexion dimmed; And every fair from fair sometimes declines, By chance or nature's changing course, untrimmed. But thy eternal summer shall not fade, Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st; Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade, When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st.
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
William Shakespeare

"I miss my father

This is the hardest part, to live after they are gone...but there are reasons, and you have just shown a multitude of them.  Well done, Zorkon!

This is fantastic! When times are hard to be able to keep going for God. People think I'm nuts when I say I wished I was home. It's not a death wish, but man oh man, this world can be complicated at times.

I love it! Keep going
