It's Amazing!
How many varied textures
and colors of experience
God uses to make up
the Fabric of our lives!

It's Incredible!
How God can be so diverse
in tht expanse of
His Creativeness--
And yet be so utterly Perfect
in His Oneness!

It's Fantastic!
How the God of all
can be so attentive
and condescend to each of us--
yet still have in His sights
the true care and concern of all!

It's Extrordinary!
How that God could
Love us so much
Bless us so richly-
And expect and receive
so little in return!

I am awed by such a God.
I am brought to my knees
in humility and praise.
I owe so much
to such a Magnificent One--
Can I ever begin to repay Him
for all His Loving Graciousness
and Superlative Goodness
He's shown to me?

"GOD GIVES- but man must open his hand." (German Proverb)

David; this is so beautiful and written in free verse too! You're breaking out into whole new areas. That's great!
the first stanza was especially touching and creative. You are right that there is no way we can ever repay what He has given us. He already paid the price. All He asks in return is our willing hearts. Ellie

Your poetry certainly is blossoming in its beauty. I really like this trend, free verse is my favorite as you probally know.

Dear David, Poetry in prayer from your heart. How this piece blesses me, as I too, am in awe of His Love and Graciousness
He extends to all who know Him.

Just beautiful and from your heart.Blessings,
Marcy

Hi David!
I honestly don't know what free verse means, but I know what writing from the heart is. You've done an excellent job of that. Thanks for sharing.

David how well you've described His awesomeness! And how little we truly give back, and how little we deserve what He gives us. Truly humbling! Excellent job with the free verse!

God bless you!

Jester, free verse is merely a poem that don't rhyme.

God does have a sense humor. Just take a look at the platypus!
